In times of doubt, go back to your Why

Every time I sit down behind my desk on Mondays, I always get excited.

I always look forward to my week, to the wonderful people I will meet and support and to the things I will be learning about my field.

I like to take a few minutes, before I even open my desktop, to focus on what I am looking forward to and the ONE big piece I need to get done before the week ends.

This is a moment of celebration for me because I am lucky enough to do a job that I love and that fills me with joy and purpose. It’s my moment to be grateful.

Sure, there are many times when I can feel overwhelmed, when I don’t know if I made the right business decision and when things get a little out of control.

I always worry about balancing work and being a good parent for my children and making sure I make enough time for myself and for those that I love.

I get ultra-stressed with technical aspects and it suddenly feels like an impossible barrier to overcome.

But with time I have developed tools.

👉I know it’s important to ask for help, that’s it OK not to know and that there is always someone around you who can share their knowledge to help you move forward.

👉I know that everything will always be VERY imperfect and I have accepted that this is the way it has to be for me to wear many hats and be all those different women at the same time.

👉And I know that when things are REALLY too much, then it’s time to go back to my WHY.

Why do I do what I do ? What gives me joy and purpose ? What is the vision I am trying to get closer to ?

We all need to take time to do that. We should write it down or post it on the corner of our computers as a gentle reminder.

We should share it with our cheerleaders so they can hold this safe for us and remind us during hard times.

That’s exactly what happened to me last week. I needed to take a moment to remind myself why this course I was building was SO important in my journey to empower women.

And to be honest, this is not just about me : it’s all about YOU and what it takes for YOU to become that person you were always meant to be.

It's that simple : the first step for women to be empowered is to learn to set boundaries. At home, in their calendars, with others and with themselves.

I hope this resonates with you so come and join this incredible community of women today or share with that one person around you that might need a hand.

The Founding Member price of 395$ finishes in a few days so join the community before Thursday to benefit from it. https://bit.ly/3hWr3dV

Much love,

Antonia
